Reopening 1st August 2012

Hi Everyone
Well we have had a lovely holiday break but are excited about reopening on Wednesday 1st August 2012. Our new hours are: closed Mondays, Tues-Sunday 12- 8pm until our labour weekend in October when we will be once again open 7 days a week.

We are introducing a new food item - tempura battered garlic prawns. They are yummy so give them a go. The menu is the same as last season otherwise.

We have just been sent a "certificate of excellence " for 2012 by Tripadvisor. We are thrilled as this is a great honour. Our overall rating for the year is 4.5. So thank you all for all your wonderful comments that has helped us achieve this award.We are very proud of this.

Looking forward to seeing you and serving you our delicious seafood.

Chicken Wedges

Hi Everyone
Well Te Anau is slowing down now, not so many tourists about so we have decided to close on Mondays until we go on holiday which is 16th June 2012.
Our coffees and hot chocolates are getting very popular.

We are introducing a new product- chicken wedges. They are the shape of a wedge chip and filled with good quality ingham chicken.The price is $1.50 each. Try them, lovely with any sauce.

Crab Sticks

Hi Everyone,
Well we have had an awesome Easter here in Te Anau, they weather was amazing. Lots of people thought the same as there were many visitors to Te Anau over the Easter Break.
Our latest news is that unfortunately we cant get scallop twisters to sell anymore BUT we are now selling crabsticks instead for $2.50 ea.

Now selling coffee

Hi Everyone
We have now got a coffee machine installed. It is an expresso coffee and the milk is 95% milk solids so not QUITE real milk.
We sell all the types of coffee for $3.00 ea and hot chocolates so come along and try one.

Danish Waffle Icecreams

Hi Everyone
We have just introduced danish waffle icecreams. They are YUM.
You get 2 scoops of icecream in a waffle cone with whipped cream on top. Your favourite topping is added then chopped nuts! all for $5.50 ea.
Great for those hot days in Te Anau.

We would like to wish everyone a very merry xmas and happy New Year.
The town is buzzing with activity at the moment, the temperatures are in the late 20C,nice and warm and wonderful holiday weather.
We were closed for xmas day but are now open again and waiting to see you all.
