new location
Forgot to tell you we have moved from our caravan on the lake front to a shop in the main street of Te Anau, up by the post office. Its a new modern shop so you have the option of sitting down to eat or takeaway.
Opening for trade
Hi everyone,
We will be opening for trade on Thursday 1st August 2013 from 6.30am - 8.00pm 7 days a week.
Come and try us for breakfast or our lunchboxes for your picinics. We also have a trampers special of a cooked breakfast + packed lunch for $20!
We have a large range of burgers and of course we are still cooking our famous fish n chips.
sandwiches, espresso coffee and home baking is also available.
So come on in, theres something for everyones palette.

CLOSING FOR WINTER
Hi Everyone
Today is our last day for trading for this season, we are closing down for winter. We will be trading again on 1st August 2013 from a shop in the main street of town still selling our fish n chips and takeaways, so the caravan will not be in use again.

Lemon Fish
Hi Everyone,
We have taken whiting fish off the menu and replaced it with LEMON FISH. This is a better quality fish and selling for thet same price of $5 per piece.
Try Jordans new SPICY burger.
Kingsize bun, aioli sauce, lettuce, chicken tender, cheese, red capsicum, onion, tomato and sweet chilli sauce. $10.50, YUM

Reopening 1st August 2012
Hi Everyone
Well we have had a lovely holiday break but are excited about reopening on Wednesday 1st August 2012. Our new hours are: closed Mondays, Tues-Sunday 12- 8pm until our labour weekend in October when we will be once again open 7 days a week.
We are introducing a new food item - tempura battered garlic prawns. They are yummy so give them a go. The menu is the same as last season otherwise.
We have just been sent a "certificate of excellence " for 2012 by Tripadvisor. We are thrilled as this is a great honour. Our overall rating for the year is 4.5. So thank you all for all your wonderful comments that has helped us achieve this award.We are very proud of this.
Looking forward to seeing you and serving you our delicious seafood.

Chicken Wedges
Hi Everyone
Well Te Anau is slowing down now, not so many tourists about so we have decided to close on Mondays until we go on holiday which is 16th June 2012.
Our coffees and hot chocolates are getting very popular.
We are introducing a new product- chicken wedges. They are the shape of a wedge chip and filled with good quality ingham chicken.The price is $1.50 each. Try them, lovely with any sauce.

Crab Sticks
Hi Everyone,
Well we have had an awesome Easter here in Te Anau, they weather was amazing. Lots of people thought the same as there were many visitors to Te Anau over the Easter Break.
Our latest news is that unfortunately we cant get scallop twisters to sell anymore BUT we are now selling crabsticks instead for $2.50 ea.
